According to the Canberra Times and the Riotact website, a former childcare worker has pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to a child while working at a southern Canberra childcare centre. He was sentenced to a 12 month good behaviour bond and 148 hours community service by the ACT Magistrates Court.
