Latest NSW Prosecutions

The NSW Regulatory Authority under the National Law, Department of Education, has just published details of a number of prosecutions:

The Approved Provider (Sovana Child Care Pty as Trustee for Sovana Child Care Trust) of the Little Giants Auburn service was convicted at Parramatta Local Court and fined $25,000. Breaches related to sections 165 and 167 concerning an incident where a three year old was left on a bus. In addition, the nominated supervisor was fined $1000.

In the other prosecution, Goodstart Early Learning Ltd, as Approved Provider of Goodstart Early Learning Forbes, was fined $16,500 by the Forbes Local Court. Breaches related to sections 165 and 167; and regulations 168-170(1).
